Zambian High-level Delegation Inspected Expansion and Upgrade of Kenneth Kaunda International Airport

The presidential pavilion is about to be completed
On 13th April 2022 , a high-level government delegation led by Zambia's Minister of Foreign Affairs Stanley Kakubo, Minister of Housing and Urban-Rural Development Charles Milupi, Minister of Transport Frank Tayali and Minister of Tourism Rhodine Sikumba inspected the Expansion and Upgrade of Kenneth Kaunda International Airport undertaken by CJIC. The delegation was accompanied by the senior management of the National Airports Corporation Limited and the project manager.
The delegation visited the new airport terminal, the flight area and the presidential pavilion, listened the report on the progress of the project construction, and affirmed the design standard and construction quality of the project, and hoped that the company would complete all the remaining tasks of the project construction with high quality and standard.
Up to now, the total progress of the project has reached about 97%. Except for the reconstruction of the presidential pavilion, the existing terminal building and the flight area, all the single buildings have been completed and handed over to the owner.
